About Us

Performance Physiotherapy is situated in Maidstone Road Rochester. We are a team of physiotherapists with a wealth of experience working in private practice, professional sport and the NHS. We believe in thorough rehabilitation to prevent reoccurrence, not just the quick fix.

Our clinic is modern and purpose built designed to give you smart, contemporary treatment rooms and space for rehab and exercise. We pride ourselves on our comprehensive service and our ability to not only treat your condition but put a smile on your face as we go.

Our clinicians have a minimum of 10years experience and have practised throughout the country. We are specialised in what we do and have a range of approaches to help your condition.

Our target is get you better within 3 sessions. But for those problems that physiotherapy can't help, we have a network of Doctors, Surgeons and Health Care Professionals who can.

The aim is to do anything we can to help you to perform better!

Meet The Team

  • Ben Wood

    Ben Wood

    Ben graduated in 2002 and since then has been working as a specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in private clinics throughout the country including Harley Street and Chelsea.

    He has also worked with various professional sports teams including Charlton Athletic, Brentford FC, Notts County, Richmond Rugby Club and the ECB. He has a strong academic background with a Masters degree in Sports Medicine and has been involved in various research projects. He is also an associate lecturer at the University of Kent.

    Ben aims to deliver the same level of physiotherapy used in professional sport and exclusive city clinics to Performance Physiotherapy Rochester.

    Outside of work he has 2 young children and enjoys the cinema, travelling, triathlons and playing any sports he can get his hands on.

  • Erin O'Brien

    Erin is a Sports Therapist who has worked in various sporting environments such as professional football and rugby teams. She specialises in Sports Injurys and also Sports Massage

  • Jessica Stephens

    Jessica is a chartered and HCPC registered Physiotherapist

  • Chris Domoney

    Chris Domoney

    Chris is a rare breed in the area in that he is a full time professional sports massage therapist. He has extensive experience working with elite runners, ironman contestants, power lifters, kick boxers and professional football clubs such as Gillingham and Brentford. He has also worked at the British Duathlon and World Championship Triathlon Final.

    He uses massage as a health tool to promote well being, aid recovery and improve performance. He also uses alternative techniques such as hot stone therapy and shiatsu to relieve stress and reduce painful muscles and joints.

    Chris is one of the most interesting, engaging and worldly wise characters you are likely to meet and if you can find something he hasn’t done then its probably not worth doing. He also has a wealth of knowledge about nutrition and training to assist with health and looking after yourself.

  • Brenda Swift

    Brenda is the practice manager, if you have any questions or queries then she will do her very best to help you.

  • Nick Ireland

    Nick completed his physiotherapy degree at the University of Brighton. He is a specilaist musculoskeletal physiotherapist. His main clinical interests are sports injuries and also works with Tunbridge Wells rugby club. 

  • Natasha Saunders

    Natasha graduated from Southampton University in 2004. She has extensive experience working within the NHS, private clinics and with sports teams.

    Natasha is one of the few physiotherapists in the country granted Extended Scope status in A&E, and such as gives her expert skills in acute injury management, ordering and interpreting x-rays and providing accurate injury diagnosis.

    In addition to her physiotherapy skills, Natasha has a specialist interest in Clinical Pilates, particularly in the treatment of lower back pain and improving core stability. She is also trained in Acupuncture which she uses to complement the diverse treatment methods available to her.

    Outside of work Natasha is a keen netball player, swimmer and has completed her open water scuba diving course that allows her to explore the underwater world!
